Rhode Island Authors Expo

A signed book makes a wonderful Christmas gift. I’ll be at the Rhode Island Authors’ Christmas Expo tomorrow selling and signing all seven of Amy Lynch’s adventures. The Expo is from 10:00 to 4:00 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick RI. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by and say hello. Amy and I would love to see you.

It’s News to Me

The South Shore News recently carried an article about my latest book, The Back of Beyond. In this seventh book in the Amy Lynch Investigations series, Amy solves a double homicide in rural West Tennessee. The article states that the book ‘Combines history, mystery and an unlikely assortment of elements as it leads the reader through a series of bombs, shootings, deaths, mysterious Indian burial grounds, motorcycle gangs with a mission and an insurrection’ as Amy attempts to determine if the insurance claim is justified.’ Having spent considerable time in this part of the country, I am quite familiar with the ‘beyond’ which Amy experiences. Enjoy!

Sweet Dreams?

Just returned from a delightful few days on Key West, one of my favorite places. Also the scene of Amy Lynch’s adventure in Sweet Dreams, Sweet Death. A wonderful place to visit. Just be sure to avoid the key lime coconut petit fours! If you’re not sure why, check out the book.

Kirkus Review

Kirkus has recently reviewed my latest novel, the Back of Beyond. They call it a “breezy, character-driven murder mystery” with a “satisfying ending” featuring Amy Lynch, “the spiky, technophobic first-person narrator” as she investigates a double murder in rural Tennessee and “ferrets out possible connections to home-grown terrorist bikers, a seemingly legitimate explosives manufacturing company” and “a threat to indigenous people’s sacred burial grounds.” All in a day’s work for Amy Lynch. The Back of Beyond will be available soon. Stay tuned for an official publication date.
